Mr. Gold co-founded Global-Triage in 2008 to provide a vertically integrated solution for high quality, cross-boarder, healthcare services. In healthcare since 1989, Mr. Gold is an expert on medical tourism and international medical services. He is a respected “healthcare Internationalist” with keen understanding of international medical operations, international health insurance, policy-level advisory and inter-cultural negotiations.

Mr. Gold’s unique track-record includes executive, strategy and consulting roles in public, private, domestic and international, healthcare planning, operations, managed care, finance, brand development and venture funding. Mr. Gold is the former Director of Strategic Planning & Business Development of the Jackson Health System in Miami, a $4B integrated, public-teaching healthcare enterprise

In this role, and as part of a turnaround team, he worked closely with the CEO to develop innovative revenue growth strategies that attracted national attention. Most recently, he served as Vice President of International Medical Services at Jackson Memorial Hospital, a 3-campus, 1800-bed hospital system owned by the Jackson Health System. In this role, he established and operated a highly effective and reputable program and pioneered the integration of the hospital’s foundation in peripheral operations of a major public hospital. In 2004, he established “The Miami Conference for Healthcare Policy Makers in the Caribbean and Central America”, as a hands-on work shop for health ministries and insurance executives from the region

He is widely known throughout the Caribbean as a “medical diplomat” who promotes bi-lateral relationships and takes deep interest in the development of healthcare infrastructure in the region. Mr. Gold maintains active interests in various healthcare enterprises in the Caribbean, Colombia and Chile’. He is the founding director of American Medical Monitoring Network (AMMN, Cayman). AMMN is a cross-boarder clinical monitoring service that bridges clinical needs of the medical community and patients in the Caribbean to US based Cardiologists and endocrinologists using state of-the-art remote ECG and Blood Glucose monitoring technology. Mr. Gold is a graduate of Florida International University, College of Business, and holds a BBA degree in Management and International Business.
