Dr. Lorenzana has more than 30 years experience in private practice and teaching in both El Salvador and the United States. He has dual citizenship in both countries, this distinctive double-cultural background has allowed Lorenzana to identify the expectations from different cultures.
A graduate of Baylor College of Dentistry and a Prosthodontics Certificate from the University of South Carolina, Rafael is the only dentist in Latin America Board Certified from the American Board of Prosthodontics and Fellow of the American College of Prothodontists. He was a Health Vice Minister from El Salvador and member of the National Commission of Health of El Salvador.
After 12 years of studies, a teaching professorship and 6 years of private practice in the States, Doctor Lorenzana returned to El Salvador in 1994. He continues to see patients of his from Texas who discovered many years ago the cost difference in treatment and the beauty of turning dental work into a vacation.
