Nubia Stella Martínez, a lawyer graduated from Universidad Javeriana in Bogotá, Colombia, has been able to work through different areas within the private and public sectors in this country. With a finance degree and a specialization on International commerce, she has worked as a delegate for the Superintendence of Financial Intermediation, and as presidential counselor for the development off the anti-corruption law.
She joined Proexport Colombia as the head director of the regional office in Barranquilla, coordinating several projects to promote exports of the region and the knowledge on the process of exportation. Nowadays she is the vice president for tourism for this entity, with the important task of developing and maintaining a strategy with its action plan to promote Colombia and its different cities as world class destinations.
