Mauricio Gojman is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of NursesNow International (“NNI”). The focus of NNI is to provide training and development programs for hospital personnel, specifically in the areas of Medical English and Culturally Competent Care. NNI’s multidisciplinary academic program includes intensive onsite training modules, work-and-study immersion programs and online training seminars. NNI’s mission is to ensure that foreign patients feel at home, regardless of where they are receiving care.
Prior to founding NursesNow International, Gojman was a Senior Associate with BroadSpan Capital, leading the firm's transaction execution efforts. At BroadSpan, he focused on mergers & acquisitions (M&A), capital raising and debt restructuring transactions. Gojman completed over a dozen transactions across Latin America and the US Hispanic Market worth over US$1.3 billion. Gojman has participated in transactions in over 15 countries and multiple sectors, including healthcare, media, telecommunications, manufacturing, real estate and financial services. Prior to BroadSpan, Gojman worked for JPMorgan and Merrill Lynch as an Investment Banker.
Gojman earned an MBA with High Distinction from the Harvard Business School. At Harvard, he graduated in the top 5% of his class as a George F. Baker Scholar and was awarded the John E. Thayer Scholarship for academic excellence and the Arthur Rock Fellowship in Entrepreneurship. Gojman also earned an M.A. degree in International Finance from Brandeis University's Graduate School of International Economics and Finance and a B.A. cum laude degree in Economics also from Brandeis University. Gojman has studied and worked in four continents, and is fluent in English, Spanish and Portuguese.
